SAISD Completes Revitalization Plan

August 24, 2007

San Angelo ISD has completed the first draft of a Facilities Revitalization Plan. The new plan, which will span a total of six years, follows a six-point outline based primarily on assessments performed by Dr. Arnold Oates of Tyler and Huckabee and Associates of Fort Worth. The plan is organized into the following categories: Plan Development, Cycle Plan, Sample Component Sheet, Facility Study Engineering Report, SAISD System Life Expectancies, and Material Organization. The first year of the plan includes renovations and repairs at Central High School as well as Bradford Elementary, Holiman Elementary, Reagan Elementary, and San Jacinto Elementary. The district considers this a "first draft" document that will be carefully reviewed on an annual basis. For more information, contact Assistant Superintendent Jeff Bright at 947-3700.
