Project Graduation Provides Safe Celebration for Grads

Project Graduation, a drug-free celebration for the Class of 2010 and their guests, will take place May 28 at the Spur Area from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM. The cost for seniors to attend is $15, while the cost for a guest, ages 15-19, is $20. The doors will close at midnight, and students who leave will not be allowed to return.

Activities include a professional hypnotist show, the Amazing Race event, a foam party, volleyball, a hula hoop contest, a limbo contest, a karaoke and dance contest, a play-for-prizes casino, bingo, and a live band. Free food and beverages will be served all night during the event.

The grand prize drawings for seniors will be held at 3:30 AM. Major prizes include two $1,000 Visa Gift Cards, ten $500 Visa Gift Cards, an IPAD, ten Plasma TV's, digital cameras, Flip video cameras, laptop computers, a Wii-Black Version, an XBox, Howard College scholarships, and ASU scholarships. Students must be present at 3:30 AM to claim prizes.
