June 21, 2010

Glenn Middle School Principal Mary Gail Stinnett has been selected to attend a summer leadership academy at Harvard University, the oldest institute of learning in the United States. The academy is a function of The Principal's Center at Harvard.

The Principals' Center provides aspiring and experienced school leaders from across the country and around the world with exemplary professional development to meet personal and professional challenges. The Principals' Center has dedicated itself to the support, development and improvement of school principals and other school leaders who influence the character and quality of a school. Mrs. Stinnett's session, "Leadership: An Evolving Vision," is geared toward veteran principals and will be led by professors in the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She will attend the all-expenses-paid academy in mid July.

Congratulations, Mrs. Stinnett!
