CHS Campus Corral Staff Captures First Place

The Central High School Campus Corral newspaper staff placed 1st for the fourth consecutive year in the American Scholastic Press Association's annual review. Staff editors submitted the paper's best articles, editorials, art, and layouts to be judged along with over 2,000 other school newspapers. A committee evaluates newspapers from all over the nation and scores them on a scale from one to 1000 points. Campus Corral received a grand total of 925 points. In addition, the contest gives newspaper staffs valuable feedback as to areas of excellence as well as constructive criticism for improvement.
