SAISD Offers Princeton Review Courses
August 24, 2015
SAISD will offer Princeton Review student training sessions for the Current SAT and ACT exams as well as the NEW PSAT exam during the fall semester. Numerous SAISD teachers have attended training with Princeton Review personnel and will conduct the sessions. Students enrolled in one of these sessions will have the opportunity to take practice tests and will work with Princeton Review materials throughout the classes. The courses are targeted at sophomores and juniors; however, freshmen are also invited to attend. As the result of a grant acquired by SAISD, the classes will be offered at a much reduced rate.
Review sessions for the NEW PSAT will begin Thursday, Septmber 3. This review session will target the October administration of the NEW PSAT. (The strategies and material covered will not benefit students who are planning to take the SAT in November, December, or January). For this year only, there will be separate review sessions for the fall administrations of the SAT and the administration of the NEW PSAT. The last day to register for the NEW PSAT review sessions is the end of the school day on August 28. The cost of the PSAT session is $30. For students on free/reduced lunch, the fee is $15. The fee for students not enrolled in SAISD is $150.
