The Construction Department handles all construction projects for San Angelo ISD. This includes projects from bond funds as well as those from other local funds. All requests for proposals and other information concerning construction projects originate from this office. As bids are available, they will be posted below under “Construction Bid Opportunities”. Any questions concerning construction projects should be directed to Steve Van Hoozer.

Construction Bid Opportunities

All bids for construction are posted on this page. If you are interested in receiving notification of these bids, please complete the vendor registration form and return it to be sure your name is included in notifications. Bids will generally be advertised in the San Angelo Standard Times on two consecutive Wednesdays with a bid opening usually scheduled two weeks after the last advertisement appears. Any questions concerning construction projects should be directed to Steve Van Hoozer.

Current Construction Projects

School Bond 2008 - The 2008 bond proposal designates $117 million in school bonds to pay for work at Holiman, Bradford, Reagan, Glenmore, San Jacinto, Santa Rita, Crockett and Goliad elementary schools, Lee Middle School, and Central and Lake View high schools.

San Angelo Stadium Field House - San Angelo ISD is in the process of building a new fieldhouse for the stadium to replace the current structure that was built in the late 1950’s.
