Budget
Click the links below to learn more about this year's budget.
As required by the legislature, the district must post the following statement:
San Angelo ISD adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and Operations than last year's tax rate.
What the legislature has failed to inform the public is that as your local tax collections increase, the state reduces the amount of funds sent to the district – shifting the responsibility of funding education from the state to the local taxpayers. San Angelo ISD does not benefit from increased local tax collections.

Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas
The Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas (Schools FIRST) is administered by the Texas Education Agency and calculated on information submitted to TEA via the district's Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) submission each year. The Schools FIRST accountability rating system assigns one of four financial accountability ratings to Texas school districts, with the highest being “Superior Achievement,” followed by “Above-Standard Achievement,” “Standard Achievement” and “Substandard Achievement.” For the tenth year in a row, the San Angelo Independent School District has earned a rating of “Superior Achievement” with a perfect score on the rating criteria.
