Lunch provides one third of the minimum recommended daily dietary allowances as established by USDA. Breakfast meals provide one fourth of the recommended daily dietary allowances. The menus offered by San Angelo ISD are meeting the 2005 Dietary Guidelines to meet recommendations for fat and saturated fat levels, increasing the number of servings of fruits and vegetables and whole grain products.
