San Angelo ISD is excited to announce that Veronica Stapper, a 2nd-grade teacher at Glenmore Elementary, has been named a finalist for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Teacher Award.
Students and staff at Austin and McGill elementaries celebrated a milestone in the construction of McGill Elementary’s new addition with a beam signing followed by a Topping Out ceremony for the placement of the last steel beam earlier this month.
On Saturday, February 18, 2024, Central High School and Lake View High School art students participated in the annual Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE). The event, held at Central High School, featured students from across the region showcasing their artwork, including paintings, sculptures, and more. The contest included 19 schools and 269 entries with 98 pieces of artwork created by Central High School students and 15 pieces of artwork from Lake View High School students.
Three San Angelo ISD students were selected for honors by the Three Rivers Counseling Association (TRCA) at the 35th Annual Three Rivers Counseling Association Appreciation Luncheon. Two students received Student Tribute Awards and one student received a Scholarship.
