CHS Test Cancelled in College Board Capacity Shortfall Project
October 1, 2007
The March 1 administration of the SAT has been cancelled for Central High School, according to College Board representatives in Princeton, New Jersey. As part of the Capacity Shortfall Project, the College Board studied test centers across the nation prior to determining that , due to low volume on the March 2007 SAT, Central High School would not be allowed to be a test center for the March 2008 test administration ONLY. Test dates that are valid at Central High for the SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject Tests include:
- October 6
- November 3
- December 1
- January 26
- May 3
- June 7
SAT Test Supervisor Eileen Pfluger has asked that parents and students, especially seniors, be alerted to the fact that Central is not part of the national test administration on March 1, 2008, despite having appealed the College Board's decision.
Registration packets for the tests are available in the CHS Counseling Center. Students may also register online at www.collegeboard.org.
