Central Students to Compete at SkillsUSA Nationals

Two Central High School students will represent San Angelo ISD at the SkillsUSA national contest June 23-27 in Kansas City, MO.

Junior Robby Galindo won first place in Action Skills at the state competition, while Senior Miguel Meza captured first in Building Maintenance. The students are taught by Brandee Baird and Raymond Bannert.

SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. SkillsUSA partners with students, teachers and industry to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
