Glenn Middle School Student Selected to Perform at Carnegie Hall

Glenn Middle School 8th grader Arabella Dunlap has been chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall this summer through the Middle School Honors Performance Series.
The Middle School Honors Performance Series showcases the most talented middle school performers identified from an international pool of applicants. Selected musicians rehearse and perform under master conductors and have the opportunity to meet other musicians from around the world as they prepare for and perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The audition process included a teacher recommendation, a performer biography, and a 3-5 minute audition recording.
The Middle School Honor Performance Series will take place June 19-23, 2019 in New York. Arabella will learn and perform in the "Honors Junior Orchestra" under the direction of renowned composer/conductor Kirt Mosier. Mosier has received international acclaim for his work and has extensive experience in working with talented student musicians.
Arabella plays the violin and serves as the concertmaster of the Glenn Middle School Honors Orchestra under the direction of Gretchen Smith.
