Assessment

The San Angelo Independent School District Assessment Department offers students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills through state mandated assessment opportunities and provides valuable information for students, teachers, parents and the community. The primary goal for this department is to provide support, information, and technical assistance for successful and effective implementation of all state testing requirements. STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) is the testing program put in place by the Texas Education Agency and is administered through the state.
