STAAR Test

STAAR stands for State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, which is the state's student testing program. The assessments are based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, which are the state curriculum standards. Beginning in grade 3 through high school graduation, students are tested in the core subject areas of reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies.

Information Regarding How to Access Your Students' STAAR and TELPAS (if applicable) Scores

Parents and guardians can access their students’ STAAR and TELPAS results through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) STAAR assessment family portal (accessible through PowerSchool Parent Portal) and also find specific resources to support learning at home. 

Preliminary 2026 Results will be available in the portal on the following dates:

  • High School STAAR End Of Course Results: January 21 and June 10th 
  • TELPAS all grades: June 11th
  • 3rd – 8th grade STAAR Results: June 16th
