The San Angelo ISD Communications Team serves as a connection between the school district and our community, facilitating effective communications between school staff, administrators, the Board of Trustees, students, parents and community members.
Our mission is to cultivate relationships with our stakeholders through engaging communication which celebrates the ways SAISD produces future-ready graduates. We support district initiatives and community engagement through coordination and management of internal and external communications, media relations, social media, special events, district websites, partnerships, public information requests, volunteering and more.
All requests for public information are handled in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code § 552.001. Requests for public information must be submitted in writing to the Director of Communications through one of the following methods:

- In person - SAISD Administration Building, 1621 University, San Angelo
This procedure allows the Communications Department to accurately document the date each request is received and respond in writing within the required ten business day time period.
Documents which are deemed public information will be made available for review and/or retrieval. The district charges $.10 per copy. For requests over $40, the district will send an itemized statement and ask for a response in writing, verifying that the requestor accepts the estimate.
