Communications
The San Angelo ISD Communications Team serves as a connection between the school district and our community, facilitating effective communications between school staff, administrators, the Board of Trustees, students, parents and community members.
Our mission is to cultivate relationships with our stakeholders through engaging communication which celebrates the ways SAISD produces future-ready graduates. We support district initiatives and community engagement through coordination and management of internal and external communications, media relations, social media, special events, district websites, partnerships, public information requests, volunteering and more.

Public Information Requests
All requests for public information are handled in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code § 552.001. For more information on how to submit a request, please visit our Public Information Requests page.
Media Relations
The Communications Team works cooperatively with the news media for coverage of matters and events involving the school district, its students or staff. We are the district’s media reference and resource point. Members of the media should contact our team when in need of information about the district. All media visits to SAISD campuses should be cleared prior to the proposed visit by the Executive Director of Communications or Director of Community Relations. The Communications Team will forward releases of pertinent news in the district to media on an on-going basis. Media members new to our community may contact communications@saisd.org to be added to the media release distribution list.
