Directions to Technology Center
The technology center is the home of the San Angelo ISD technology department. The technology center houses the district Help Desk, technology training labs, and Network Operations Center as well as offices for the technology director, technology support specialists, and networking team. The center serves as the central location for all district technology services including email, internet, and student and financial management systems.
The SAISD Technology Center has moved to 1700 N Garfield St, which is currently Alta Loma Elementary. At this time, please do not drop in for technical assistance. Instead, please call our Help Desk at 325-657-4000. After the elementary campus moves during the summer of 2024, the site will become the district’s Technology Center. At that time, we’ll resume allowing walk-ins for technical assistance.
Directions to Technology Center
From Loop 306 headed East
- Take the Martin Luther King Blvd & Hwy 87 exit. (about a ¼ of a mile before you see the exit sign, you will see a sign that says “Central High School - next exit”)
- In the right-hand lane, proceed east on the frontage road to Mesquite Street (about 1/2 mile). You will know you are getting close when you pass the Central High School Administration & Science Building (the Tucker Building) with a large parking lot in front of it on the right side of the street.
- Turn right on Mesquite Street.
- Continue on Mesquite St.
- Drive to the end of the building that is on your right and turn right into the Technology parking lot. (Parking lot entrance is between the Sousa building and the practice field.)
- There is a “TECHNOLOGY” sign above the entrance to the front office area.
- The doors remain locked so please press the doorbell that is next to the Technology Dept. double door entrance.
