2026-2027 BOARD SUPERINTENDENT GOALS
Adopted September 1, 2026
GOAL 1: By August 2027, all San Angelo ISD campuses will demonstrate academic growth and be rated by TEA as a C or above, with the ultimate goal of an A or B rating for each campus.
GOAL 2: By June 1, 2027, San Angelo ISD will increase the percentage of students meeting the expected growth measure for NWEA MAP testing for grades 2-8 Reading, English I, and English II by 8% and grades 3-8 Math and Algebra I by 10%.
GOAL 3: By August 2027, San Angelo ISD will ensure the Board of Trustees can adopt a balanced budget for the 2027-28 school year by reducing expenditures to mitigate the declining enrollment and loss of revenue from the state.
GOAL 4: By June 1, 2027, all San Angelo ISD campus attendance boundary rezoning, feeder patterns, and transfer guidelines will be complete and fi nalized for implementation effective the Fall semester of 2027.
GOAL 5: By June 1, 2027, all San Angelo ISD bond-related construction projects will be on schedule and under budget.
