Career & Technical Education: Real-World Learning with Real-World Impact
Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a key part of how San Angelo ISD prepares students to be future-ready. Through rigorous, hands-on learning experiences, CTE connects classroom instruction to real-world skills aligned with workforce and postsecondary expectations. Through CTE, students gain skills, credentials, and confidence that prepare them for success in college, careers, and life.

College Credit and Industry Credentials
CTE students may earn technical dual credit through Howard College, with courses taught by college instructors or SAISD educators certified as adjunct faculty. Successful completion allows students to earn credit reflected on both high school and college transcripts—providing a head start on postsecondary goals.
Students may also earn industry-based certifications and licensures through state-approved programs, helping them demonstrate job-ready skills and increase employability before graduation.
