San Angelo READS!

San Angelo READS! is a community-wide literacy initiative that was founded to promote and encourage reading and the future-ready learner profile attributes among our students and greater community. The goal of San Angelo READS! is to increase awareness of the importance of literacy and to inspire a love for reading. 

San Angelo ISD is focused on building literacy skills that create students who are prepared for future successes, inside and outside the classroom and beyond their time in our hallways. Our teachers are committed to continuing to guide this success by regularly assessing reading levels, providing small group and individualized reading instruction, and implementing high level interventions when determined to be necessary.
