San Angelo ISD to Offer New Kindergarten Jump Start Program for Incoming Kindergarten Students

We understand starting kindergarten is a big change and an important step in a students’ academic career. That’s why we are excited to offer our incoming kindergarten students an opportunity to “jump start” their elementary experience. Open to all incoming kindergarteners, this program will help them to better understand what it means to be an elementary student and to feel prepared. Students will experience classroom routines, procedures and participate in educational growth. 

All incoming kindergarten students may apply for this limited capacity program. Preference will be given to those with no prior school experience. Parents will be notified of enrollment or waitlist in June. If you are interested in having your incoming kindergarten student participate, please complete the appropriate form below. 

Session 1 for Fannin, McGill and Santa Rita Elementary 

• Dates/Times: July 25, 26, 29, and 30, 2024 from 8:30 am - 11:30 am 
• Location: Santa Rita Elementary
• To Register, complete the form if your student will attend Kindergarten at Fannin, McGill or Santa Rita next year (deadline to register is Tuesday, June 4th)

Session 2 for Bowie, Bonham, Crockett and Lamar Elementary

• Dates/Times: July 25, 26, 29, and 30, 2024 from 8:30 am - 11:30 am 
• Location: Lamar Elementary
• To Register, complete the form if your student will attend Kindergarten Bowie, Bonham, Crockett or Lamar next year (deadline to register is Tuesday, June 4th)

Session 3 for Glenmore, San Jacinto, Belaire and Fort Concho Elementary

• Dates/Times: July 25, 26, 29, and 30, 2024 from 8:30 am - 11:30 am 
• Location: Glenmore Elementary
• To Register, complete the form if your student will attend Kindergarten at Glenmore, San Jacinto, Belaire or Fort Concho next year (deadline to register is Tuesday, June 4th)

Session 4 for Bradford, Goliad, Holiman and Reagan Elementary

• Dates/Times: July 25, 26, 29, and 30, 2024 from 8:00 am - 11:30 am 
• Location: Goliad Elementary
• To Register, complete the form if your student will attend Kindergarten at Bradford, Goliad, Holiman or Reagan next year (deadline to register is Tuesday, June 4th)
